thank you to all for the positive feedback about the website. also, thank you to those who have already donated to the 6-month missions trip i am gearing up for july 2005. there is much to be done, funds to be raised and a plane ticket to be bought.
does anyone know a travel agent or someone who works for the airlines? maybe they can "hook it up" (as kids these days say)?

today work was done on the main page of this website. paypal was added and i am curious as to who will be the first to use it.

illegal
it should be illegal to work on a day off, especially on a sunday which is the one day in the week where i NEED a nap. if you call working on this website "work", the i worked quite a bit today.
this week is busy! very busy! many things to pray about, such as the completion of my newsletter. when my letters go out, the word about my trip gets out and by the grace of God, the finances will come in.

the journey begins
i have toiled the night away in a desperate effort to resurrect this website of mine. i am in the first week of full preparation for my future journey overseas. there is no shame in admitting that i am scared because i definitely would rather process my emotions at a time like this than hide them.
so here lies the first of many records of my life. it is for myself, yes, but even moreso it is for those whom i love the most in the world - to my friends, my family, my kids (at LCE) and to the rest of the world that i am leaving behind (only for a season of course).
